The Madison Club is an exclusive private residential community in La Quinta, California and buying a home here allows you to become a member of the club. But non-residents can be a member as well. 

That way, you’re able to play on a terrific golf course designed by Tom Fazio. Golf Digest ranks the Madison Club as 108th among the greatest golf courses in America.

Membership Rates and Fees

There are several types of membership categories. Membership lasts at least a year, and it requires Board approval. All (except the Young Professionals membership) require an initiation fee of just $750. 

Each July, all members are also assessed a capital fund fee to assist with capital improvement projects. This fee is separate from the monthly dues, and it can change each year. For the coming July, 2022, this fee is expected to be $500. 

Here are some of the fees and privileges for each type of membership:

Standard (for Members 40 years old and above)

  • $223 per month
  • No minimum spending requirement
  • Access to club dining and events
  • Reciprocal privileges 
  • Reduced meeting room rental fees

Affinity (for businesses with multiple Madison Club members)

  • $195 per month for each member, if the business has 2 to 5 Madison Club members 
  • $185 per month for each member, if the business has at least 6 Madison Club members 
  • No minimum spending requirement
  • Access to club dining and events 
  • Reciprocal privileges 
  • Reduced meeting room rental fees

Executive (great for frequent users)

  • $160 per month
  • Minimum spending requirement of $300 every 3 months
  • Access to club dining and events
  • Reciprocal privileges 
  • Reduced meeting room rental fees

Non-resident (the member cannot live or work in Dane County to be eligible)

  • $175 per month
  • No minimum spending requirement
  • Access to club dining and events
  • Reciprocal privileges

Social 

  • $1,620 annual dues
  • $1,000 pre-paid dining credits to use throughout the year 
  • No minimum spending requirement
  • Access to club dining and events

Non-Profit (Employee of an NPO)

  • $175 per month
  • No minimum spending requirement
  • Access to club dining and events

Young Professionals (New Members under 40 years of age)

  • $250 initiation fee 
  • 50% off capital fund fee each July (lasts until reaching 40 years of age)
  • $75 per month

Churchill’s Membership (Promotional rate for new members for the 1st year)

  • $100 per month
  • Minimum spending requirement of $100 per month (for a year)
