The Rehoboth Beach Country Club in Delaware is listed among the prestigious Platinum Clubs of America, which makes it among the 150 best country clubs in the entire country. That’s a big deal when country clubs in the US number in the thousands.
This club was established in 1925, and it’s been the social and recreation hub in the area for almost a century. And the club even spent $10.5 million in 2020 to make the amenities and features even better than ever. These new features make the initiation fee of $25,000 for the regular membership an absolute bargain.
To join the club, you’ll need sponsorship from 2 current members, and then you’ll have to obtain the recommendations of 3 other members. As a member, the privileges will extend to your spouse (or designated companion), and your children up to the age of 23.
The regular membership offers full access to everything, including the 19-hole golf course, golf range, and other practice facilities. You’re able to join in the various golf events, such as the competitive Club Championship tournaments. You’ll also have access to golf services such as pull carts, caddies, lockers, club storage, and even shoe care.
You may get a discount on the initiation fee if you’re younger than 35 years old, or if you’re the child or grandchild of a current Club member.
You can also opt for the social membership instead, with the initiation fee set at $4,900. While this membership offers a more limited access to the golf facilities, you still enjoy full access to everything else.
That means you can finally learn tennis, or play more regularly. Here you have 4 Har-Tru tennis courts, with lessons, clinics, and tournament programs for all ages and skill levels.
The pool complex has been updated, and now there’s a new heated pool with 6 regulation lanes plus a diving well. There’s also a kiddie pool, with a non-slip bottom. Space around the pool has been increased to 10,000 square feet of space, with room for up to 200 lounges.
