The Mizner Country Club in Delray Beach, Florida, is undoubtedly one of the best country clubs in the entire country. It’s one of the Platinum Clubs of America, and Boardroom Magazine lists it as one of its Distinguished Clubs.
Club & Resort Business has the club’s Fitness and Wellness Center as the Top Ranked for 2021. Prevo Health Solutions also regards Mizner as one of America’s Healthiest Clubs.
Memberships at the Mizner Country Club requires an initiation fee. This fee consists of a non-refundable portion, along with the equity portion with 80% of it refundable. Then there are the annual dues, which covers the service charge (including tipping) along with the 7% tax.
For the full golf equity membership, the initiation fee is $105,000 with $85,000 non-refundable. The equity contribution is $20,000. The annual dues are $24,994. This may seem pricey, but then you have unlimited access to the golf facilities and all the other amenities.
For golf fanatics, this is the membership to get. The club hosts weekly golf tournaments for men and women, with golf clinics throughout the year for all levels.
There are even expanded golf camps during the summer. With family tees and the Mizner Junior Golf Club, kids as young as 6 years old are also encouraged to learn the game.
The sports membership limits you to just 6 rounds of golf during the season, but you can play all you want during the off season from May to October. The initiation fee is $85,000 and $75,000 of that is non-refundable, with annual dues of $22,057.
The tennis membership doesn’t accord golfing privileges, so the initiation fee is $75,000 with $65,000 non-refundable. The same initiation fee goes for the social membership. It’s just that with the tennis memberships, annual dues are $20,558.
For the social, it’s just $19,865 per year. All types of memberships still have other fees to deal with. There’s the capital asset fee of $1,574 per year, and the Capital Lifestyle Center fee of $2,340 per year. There’s also the food and beverage minimum, which is $2,000 for a family and $1,000 for an individual.
