The Lake Nona community is 17 square miles of exceptional living space in Central Florida, and the Lake Nona Golf & Country Club lies in its very center. It’s the place where resident members socialize, though the membership is also open to non-locals and even international residents.
Its main feature is the 180hole golf course designed by Tom Fazio. It has been ranked as one of the top 100 Best Residential Golf Courses by Golfweek. But members also enjoy various golf services, including specialized instruction so you can improve facets of your game. There’s also a fully equipped Professional Shop, along with golf club repair and fitting services.
Other amenities include the large clubhouse with 40,000 square feet of space, where you can find a Lodge with 18 rooms. Savor the Bath & Racquet Club and its 7,000 square feet of amenities, where you’ll find the requisite fitness center and the various tennis facilities.
The Technogym equipment is just superb, along with the workout group classes. You also have the modernized locker rooms, the private massage room, and the saunas for post-workout recovery.
The tennis courts are state-of-the-art, and a professional tennis coach is always ready for tutoring. There’s also a resort-style pool by the lakeside, with 3 waterways for all ages.
Plenty of dining options are available as well. The formal dining rooms offer elegant service, and the Grill Room offers casual fare for all-day dining. You can also get your meals by the side of the pool.
Membership costs depend on what type of membership you get. The country club actually offers a wide range of membership types, aside from the usual full membership and social membership. There’s a local membership for the residents of the community, and also a non-local membership. Other available types include a corporate golf membership, and even an international membership.
Membership fees aren’t publicized, but reports have the member initiation fee ranging from a minimum of $50,000 to $75,000 for a full membership. Dues also vary depending on the membership type, but they can reach more than $15,000 per year.
