The Boca West Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida is universally recognized as one of the best private residential country clubs in the country, and it’s been around since 1991. This place is huge, with fantastic private residences within a tropical landscape that measures 1,400 acres.
It actually has 55 private villages, surrounded by wooded areas, waterways, 8 pickleball courts and 29 Har-Tru Hydro tennis courts. You also have 4 championship courses, designed by luminaries such as Arnold palmer and Jim Fazio.
Of course, there’s a pool. It’s Florida, after all. The spraqling free-form pool comes with cascading waterfalls, along with some lush tropical foliage and bridges. There’s a bar as well (again, it’s Florida). It boasts of an adult lap section as well as a children’s area, and it also offers outdoor spas. Those who want some extra peace and quiet can also go this nice serene spot that’s great for meditation.
The pool hosts a wide variety of games, including water basketball and volleyball. But kids (and adults) can also take swimming lessons from certified instructors. Then there’s also the Sports Center, where you can get some cardio and strength training.
The resort-style dining is just fabulous. Aside from the pool bar, you have several restaurants you really should try. These places are great for entertaining, whether it’s for Sunday brunch, a hearty lunch, or an elegant dinner. That terrific setting overlooking the golf course is simply awesome. Guests can also enjoy some dancing to live music, along with great drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Of course, you also have lots of terrific pizza, burgers, and huge sandwiches that’ll sate your appetite. With the 9 restaurants here, you won’t lack variety.
The community has 3,500 families living here, and that’s more than 6,000 people all in all. It offers several different home designs, so you can go for a single-family home, a villa, a patio home, a townhome, or a garden apartment.
The membership is for homeowners here, with an initiation fee of $70,000. There are also the dues of $12,000 that you’ll have to pay each year.
