2024. Prices and selections may vary and are updated frequently.
Information regarding the current initiation fees and annual dues for the Belle Haven Country Club remains undisclosed. But reports in 2018 revealed that the membership initiation fee at the time was $82,000 with monthly dues of $590 ($7,800 per year).
This information may no longer be accurate, since the BHCC is planning a comprehensive upgrade over the next 5 to 20 years. That means capital dues for 2022 will be increased, according to their website.
There are actually several types of memberships available.
- Active Membership. You’re able to use all the recreational and dining facilities, and attend the events in the social calendar. You also have the right to vote in BHCC decisions.
- Business Executive Membership. This offers Active Membership privileges to 3 to 5 executives (the designees) of the same enterprise (for profit or non-profit). A designee can transfer out and be replaced by another designee from the same business, but that involves another fee.
- Young Executive Membership. This is only for applicants who are 35 years old or younger. This membership involves a reduced initiation fee and monthly dues, but there may be some golf restrictions and no voting privileges.
- Tennis/Racquets Membership. This allows access to all facilities except golf-related activities. That means being able to play on the tennis courts, swim in the pool, use the fitness center, dine in the restaurant, and attend all the social events.
- Social Membership. You can swim in the pool and get a workout in the fitness center. You can enjoy the dining options and attend the social events. But there’s no golf or tennis.
- Non-Resident Membership. This is for those who live beyond a 50-miles radius from Belle Haven. The member can use the recreational facilities with a fee, and for only 30 times a year at most. But they can also dine in the restaurants here, and attend the various social events.
But you have to be accepted first, and to do that, you have to be endorsed by 4 current members before you can even apply. Then you hope that most of the current members won’t vote to deny your application.
