This is widely recognized as the best “lifestyle estate” in the whole world, and it’s easy to see why. It’s the only club that’s not only a social and recreational club and a golf community, but it’s also a ski resort. That’s thanks to its location, as it is found in Madison County, west of Big Sky, Montana.

The whole Yellowstone community spans 15,000 hectares, with 2 large rivers flowing through the area. That means you also have activities here such as fly fishing and river rafting. Other activities that you won’t find in other clubs include horse riding.

The golf course is fantastic, with the design by the famous golf architect Tom Weiskopf. This is one mountain golf course you’ll love, especially with the fantastic views. For the skiing, there are 2,900 acres of world-class ski trails for you to try out.

This place offers not just one, but 2 high-tech fitness facilities, with various fitness and workout classes offered. Those who just want to relax will also appreciate the various facilities for self-care, and you can get your own personalized beauty treatment. Of course, the invigoratingly fresh Montana air helps a lot.

There’s just too much to do here, so you’ll never get bored. The Yellowstone Club leaders also keep on upgrading. Just recently, they turned a seldom used grand ballroom into an area for basketball and various games, and included a movie theater as well.

Membership is a very expensive option here, since it all starts with being a resident. The cheapest houses go for at least $10 million. Condo buildings have come up in recent years, and the most affordable condo unit is selling for at least $5 million. It’s no wonder that the residents and club membership lists are full of billionaires. Bill Gates is actually one of the members.

As the saying goes, if you have to ask how much it will cost to get into the club, it’s probably too expensive for you. Reportedly, the membership initiation fee is $300,000 and that’s not yet counting the minimum of $36,000 in yearly dues.

You have to be really rich to be a member, and be really lucky as well. The membership is capped to just 864 households.
