The Club at Mediterra is a private equity club, mainly for the residents of the Mediterra golf community in Naples, Florida. As the name of the community indicates, the architecture here is largely Mediterranean, with gorgeous parks and soothing freshwater lakes throughout the community. It encompasses 1,700 acres of land.

The membership is extremely exclusive, although non-resident memberships are possible. But the golf membership is capped to a maximum of 450 to 500 members. More specifically, that’s 225 to 250 members for each of the two golf courses, both of which were designed by Tom Fazio. The golf courses have been upgraded recently,

The waiting time for a golf membership can be at least 18 months, and often up to 2 years. The golf membership initiation fee $150,000 with annual golf dues $18,875.

While you’re waiting for your golf membership application to get through, you may want to obtain a sports and beach membership in the meantime. That will require an initiation fee of $45,000 with annual dues of $6,580. Keep in mind that for these memberships, there may still be a minimum fee for food and drinks.

The Sports Club has been recently expanded as well, and it sure is a busy place filled with active athletes. The tennis program is excellent, and it offers 8 Har-Tru tennis courts and also the award-winning Coliseum Stadium Court. League play happens often, and there’s also a learning court with lessons for newbies.

It also has a state-of-the-art fitness center and studio, where you can also find courts for bocce and pickleball. Other amenities include a heated lap and lounge pool. You’ll also enjoy the spa and sauna.

The Main Clubhouse is where lots of socialization occur, with a club atmosphere often filled with live entertainment and a full social calendar. You can go with the Grill Room for casual dining, or the Lounge for cocktails. The Ballroom is for grand events, while the Tavern on 18 & Fire Pit Patio offer outdoor dining with fantastic views.

Finally, you have the Beach Club, right on the Gulf of Mexico. Aside from the elevated and heated swimming pool, there’s a spacious sundeck along with another restaurant with cabana service, overlooking 200 feet of shoreline.
