This is a secure neighborhood of at least 240 single-family homes, with some houses with areas of more than 12,000 square feet.
Reports regarding the membership costs are inconsistent. One report stated that the initiation fee was $125,000 with monthly dues of $2,244. That’s almost $27,000 a year. But another report indicated that the membership initiation cost might be nearer the $300,000 mark.
Since the members are all rather well-off, the discrepancy regarding the fees might not matter all that much. Not with the legendary golf course at the Bridges, which was designed by Robert Trent Jones II. Golf Digest rates it as one of the Top 20 golf courses in California, with challenging play accompanied by views of coastal foothills and canyons.
Even the golf practice facilities are equally terrific. Golf Digest picked this as one of the Top 50 Locker Rooms in the US, and the Golf Range Association of America called the driving range here as one of the Top 40 Golf Ranges. You have PGA Professionals and Titleist Performance Institute Instructors, advanced swing and club fit technology, and 3 separate tees. Then you have the separate Richard C. Helmstetter Performance Centre, and the professional golf shop.
Other amenities include the 5-acre Tennis & Recreation Centre, with 5 lit tennis courts along with an exhibition court. Beside this is a playing field, a covered playground, 2 pickleball courts, and a multi-purpose sport court for exercise and fun.
The full-service spa is a marvel, with a wide range of soothing massage therapies and body treatments provided in serene private massage rooms. You also have licensed estheticians providing the most advanced facial and skin care services.
The facilities here include the saline swimming pool that’s heated year-round, with locker rooms separated by gender, and areas for the indoor spa, sauna, steam and full showers.
