The Saucon Valley Country Club is located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and it is one of the Platinum Clubs of America. It started out back in 1920, with just 205 acres of farmland. Now the club encompasses more than 850 acres. That’s enough space for 3 golf courses with 18 holes, and an extra 6-hole golf course to boot.

The first golf course (known as the Old Course), was designed by Herbert Strong, and then the Grace Course designed by William and David Gordon opened in 1957. That same pair of golf architects also designed the Weyhill Course, which was completed in 1968.

Together, these 3 golf courses have hosted 8 major USGA events, and these include the 2022 US Senior Open Championship. The club also offers golf instruction for men, women, and even children.

The racquet facilities have also been around for the last century. For tennis buffs, there are 12 Har-Tru tennis courts outdoors with 3 Har-Tru courts indoors. You also have 2 hard tennis courts outdoors, along with 4 pickleball courts and a practice backboard. Other racquetball facilities are for squash and platform tennis.

The fitness center here comes with the latest gym workout equipment for both cardio and strength training, and many other types of workouts are taught by the gym instructors and personal trainers. There are even trainers here certified by the Titleist Performance Institute so they can evaluate your golf fitness.

For swimming, there are 4 swimming pools. You have the lap, junior, and wading pools, along with the diving well. Swimming is great during the summer, with late night swimming parties and movie nights.

Saucon Creek is also the home of native and stocked trout, which is great for avid fly fishers. Lessons are also available. Then there are the bowling lanes with leagues for men and women, plus a playground for the kids.

As for dining, you have a glut of options. There are at least 8 distinct dining venues, along with 5 banquet facilities for private celebrations.

Yet despite all these terrific amenities and features, the membership initiation fee for a full membership is just $30,000 a year with annual dues of $11,500. But this may be outdated information.
