The US is home to more than 4,000 private country clubs, but only 150 of them are considered good enough to be listed as a Platinum Club of America. One of these Platinum Clubs is the Frenchman’s Reserve Country Club, which is an exclusive golf course community in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

The easiest way to get a membership is to buy a home in the community, although “easy” might not be the most appropriate word to describe the prices of the homes. These prices range from about $550,000 to $5 million, or even higher. There are only 341 single-family homes, with 56 Chambord coach homes and 50 custom homes.

But buy a home here, and you may be able to get a membership at this fantastic country club. You just have to make sure you can cover the costs. The full equity membership requires an initiation fee of $150,000 although $95,000 is refundable if you ever resell the property (or if for some strange reason, you just want to stop being a member). As a full golf member, you also need to pay annual dues of $23,075.

You can go with the Social/Sport Equity membership, but only if the property you bought already have this type of membership. You will then pay the $95,000 initiation fee with $47,500 refundable, plus the annual dues of $15,280.

All members will still need to pay a minimum of $1,200 for food and beverages, and there’s also a capital charge of $1,500 per membership. But at least the membership includes virtually the entire family, as it includes the prime member and spouse, along with dependent children under the age of 26.

That means everyone can enjoy the facilities here. Even with the Social/Sport Membership, you have full access to the tennis facilities with 14-day signup privileges for tennis court times. The Frenchman’s Reserve Country Club features 7 Hydrogrid clay tennis courts, along with 2 pickleball courts and a multi-use sports court. Also, all the members of the tennis staff are certified by the USPTA.

Then you have the various dining options for formal and casual dining, the terrific fitness club, and even a CORE Club with fun games for kids under 15 years old. Add the Arnold Palmer Signature Course, and this is one fantastic country club you’ll want to visit as often as you can.
