The Cherokee Town and Country Club is located in Georgia, and it’s one of the best golf and country clubs in the whole country. There are actually 2 locations, with the Town Club in the famous Grant Estate on West Paces Ferry Road in Buckhead. You’ll find the Country Club near the Chattahoochee River in Sandy Springs.
There’s a bit of secrecy regarding the membership process, but it’s well-known that membership is by invitation only. Prices aren’t publicized, but it’s rumored that the initiation fee will set you back by $200,000. You also have the $7,500 dues you’ll have to pay each year.
Once you’re a member, you’re in for a treat. There are 3 swimming pools here (one for infants), and 16 tennis courts. Then you also have the 2 world-class championship golf courses.
The clubhouse facility in the Town Club is immense, measuring 108,000 square feet. Within the facility, you’ll find an informal dining room, a classy grill room, and a formal dining room. During the summer months, the poolside café is open as well. There are also 8 private function rooms, including a Grand Ballroom for special events.
For the Country Club, the clubhouse offers 46,000 square feet of fun. Members can opt for any of the 2 dining rooms and 3 banquet rooms, including a golfer’s grill and an upscale grill.
You have to try these dining facilities, because they’re simply fantastic. In fact, these dining rooms are nationally renowned, and have even received the “Achievement of Excellence” award from the American Culinary Federation. Their culinary staff has also won various awards from the ACF, such as Chef of the Year, Pastry Chef of the Year, and even Junior Chef of the Year.
Of course, if you’re worried about your weight and fitness, there’s a workout center here as well with full-service locker rooms. There’s also a massage room that should help you relax once you’re done with your gym activities. Basically, Cherokee Town and Country Club is a fantastic private club where the dedicated staff will take care of your needs. Just relax and have fun.
